We use Extended Validation (EV) SSL, the highest standard in the Internet security industry for Web site authentication, to secure your online transaction with us. EV SSL signifies that our organization has passed a rigorous identity authentication process. The EV SSL Certificate triggers your browser address to display https:// and if you use a browser released in 2007 or later (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 7) your address bar will turn a noticeable green color.
By using the Secure Sockets Layer method of web transmission, the webserver takes all the steps necessary to protect your personal information, including your credit card number, from being intercepted during transmission. The server encrypts all data sent and decrypts all data received with a digital ID generated by using RSA public-key cryptography, ensuring that your information remains safe and secure.
If your browser supports the Secure Sockets Layer of web transmission, you will see a little padlock or key in the lower frame of your browser window. This symbol lets you know that your transactions are occurring in a secure environment.
NOTE: For further customer security, credit card numbers are not saved to our web server but are encrypted and transmitted to our fulfillment system.
How to Place an Online Order
The Upper Room's selection of resources for spritual growth are online at The Upper Room Bookstore. Browse or search the Bookstore to find books or other merchandise of interest to you.
When you find an item you would like to purchase, click "Purchase" to add the books to your Shopping Cart. When you are finished shopping, click the button "Check Out" on your shopping cart page. At this point, you will be switched to the secure server so that all personal information (including your credit card) will be protected.
To complete the order, simply follow the directions and fill out the order forms. You will be asked for your ship to and bill to addresses, your credit card (VISA or MasterCard) information, and the method you would like your resources shipped. When you have completed the verification of your order, click the Submit button and your order will be sent to The Upper Room® for fulfillment. You will be sent a confirmation of your order via e-mail. Please use the order number from this e-mail in any inquiries about your order.
