	From the International Director As I travel around the country, many of you are asking how, as individuals or as a community, you can help bring Emmaus or Chrysalis to International countries. The needs are many and I would like to share excerpts from a letter that I just received from Renny Stoltz, our representative who lives in South Africa. 		We want your stories! One of the areas that the International Emmaus and Chrysalis Office is going to direct our focus in 2009 and the years to come is on our Fourth Day. What are we doing? How can we help? What are some of the resources that you are using in your Fourth Day? There are many resources out there and we would like to know what you find effective in keeping your Fourth Day strong and vibrant. Send us your success stories, we’d love to share them with the world. I find the Upper Room Daily Devotional works for me as I start my day but that is not the only resource that I use. Please share your stories with us so that we can share them with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

		Letters of Agreement The 2009 Letter of Agreement will be coming out in December 2008. We are attempting to get them to the current Community Lay Directors before their term expires and are asking them to pass them on to the new Community Lay Director. No matter when you change Board of Directors members OR when you last submitted a Letter of Agreement, please complete it and return it to our offices in Nashville before March 31, 2009. We would love to get them all back so that we can see who are the leaders and Boards at the beginning of the year. Too often people and positions change and we don’t have the manpower to hunt them down. We want to provide as much information as we can in a timely manner. Also, you will see on page four that there is a spot for the Community Treasurer to enter their email address.

Communities who download and use the songs are invited to make a donation to the Emmaus Office for the International Development fund.
