Did you know that many people around the world do not have Christian reading materials available in their native languages?

Nowhere do we see more intense spiritual hunger than in communities in some of the most impoverished regions of our world. Each year Upper Room Ministries® receives inquiries from international communities who desperately want the spiritual companionship and nurture provided by The Upper Room daily devotional guide.

We are dedicated to responding to these inquiries and to following in the footsteps of Jesus' early disciples, to help people of every language and nation hear God speak to them in their own languages.

Currently The Upper Room is published in more than 77 editions and 40 languages. Unlike people in the United States, our brothers and sisters around the world have access to few if any resources to help them, their families, and their communities grow in faith. As a result, international communities who have access to The Upper Room tell us it is as much a staple of their spiritual diets as the Bible. The opportunity to read, pray, and reflect daily is a lifeline for people struggling to find hope in the midst of chaos, poverty, and despair.

Upper Room Ministries is seeking essential financial support to help publish The Upper Room in communities around the world, as well as partners to help expand our outreach to more communities worldwide.

"I regularly receive the precious gift of The Upper Room devotional guide. I thank the Lord for the privilege to be a part of this worldwide fellowship through prayer. ... It inspires and encourages me as I've learned from my devotions day by day."
